Previously, he served as Quorum’s Solution Architect and Consultant for Val Nav, working with operators across the U.S. ranging from supermajors to start-ups to redefine and modernize technical forecasting, economics, and reserves management workflows. His background is in Petroleum Engineering and Finance from Texas A&M.

As a leader with nearly 20 years of experience, Chad leads a team of geoscientists, engineers, and business professionals as GLJ’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, and with experience working for energy clients in Canada, the United States, South America, and Europe, Chad has expertise in providing best-in-class reservoir, and economic evaluations that can be relied upon for corporate assessments, regulatory filing purposes, bank financings, corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions. As a key member of the executive team, Chad is responsible for operationalizing emerging opportunities such as new technologies and data science to help propel GLJ’s clients through the energy transition to meet demand.

Chad holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
